Where are Trollgadda wooden lures made?

North Carolina, USA! We are proudly made by hand one at a time just like in years gone past.

Does Trollgadda only make lures out of wood?

Yes! Wood bodies, metal lips, and glass eyes are a call back to our fishing heritage. We got tired of seeing so much plastic everywhere. Trollgadda was created to bring those simple and honest materials back to the forefront of the fishing community.

Are Trollgadda lures just display pieces or can you fish with them?

We make our lures to fish. They are tuned, weighted, and balanced to fit the water. Get out there and cast these lures. We get comments all the time that “they are too pretty to fish”. Nonsense. Go catch a monster fish on one of our lures then you can retire it to the wall of fame.

Where does Trollgadda source their raw materials from?

The USA. We try and source all our materials from the good old USA. Is that cheaper? No, not at all, but we believe that its important to support local businesses and use only the highest quality parts. The only exception being our hooks and split rings which are sourced from Japan. Japan is well know by the fishing community for having the highest quality terminal tackle.

What does heritage quality lure mean? Are they durable?

Trollgadda wooden lures are built using only the highest quality materials. So you can enjoy year after year. That’s why we build our lures by hand so they can last long into the future. We want you to be able to hand down these lures to future generations of anglers.

Do you except returns?

Yes, but only under the condition that " returns are a result of defects of manufacturing and are accepted under the conditions of our internal examination and proof of fault and defect in manufacturing processes.” In addition, any returns must be made within one month of purchase date and return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. We're extremely stringent on this policy because each lure is individually inspected by myself before any lure is sold.

When will my order ship? Will I receive a tracking number?

We make it our best effort to ship all orders the next day, but please allow a couple days for shipping and handling. All our orders ship priority from USPS. Yes, you will receive a tracking number as soon as the order ships.
